PART VI - CONVERSION TO ISLAM
Section 76. Recognition of muallafs a Muslims.
(1) A person who has converted to Islam and has been registered in the Register of Muallafs shall, for the purposes of any Federal or State law, and for all time, be treated as a Muslim.
(2) A person whose conversion to Islam has been registered under any law of any State shall, for all purposes in the State of Sabah and for the purposes of implementing in the State of Sabah the provisions of any law, be treated as a Muslim.
