Section 29. Acting in an emergency.
(1) In any case of emergency, the President, after consultation with two of her members of the Majlis, may with the approval of His Royal Highness the Sultan do or cause to be done on behalf of the Majlis any act which may lawfully be done by resolution of the Majlis.
(2) Where any act or thing is done pursuant to subsection (1), a meeting of the Majlis shall be held within seven days thereafter for the purpose of ratifying and confirming the act or thing done, and if the Majlis declines to ratify and confirm the act, or thing done, the President shall refer the matter to His Royal Highness the Sultan who may give such direction in the matter as he thinks fit.
