Section 103. Mosque not approved under the law.

Any person who erects a mosque for praying the Jumaat prayer or dedicates or in any other way uses any building for the purpose of or as a mosque for praying the Jumaat prayer without the written authority of the Majlis, shall be guilty of an offence and shall, on conviction be liable to a fine not exceeding four thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years or to both and the Court may, subject to the rights of third parties, order that the building be demolished.
