ENACTMENT NO. 3 OF 1982 ADMINISTRATION OF THE SYARIAH COURT ENACTMENT 1982
PART IV - GENERAL PROCEDURE
Section 22. Reciprocal arrangements with other states.
(1) If under the provisions of nay law in force in the States listed in the First Schedule, a Qadhi hs issued a summon requiring any person to appear before any Syariah Court in such States and that person is believed to be in the State of Kelantan, a Qadhi may endorse the summons with his name and such summons may be served on such person as if it were issued by the Court under the provisions of this Enactment.
(2) Where a Qadhi under the provision of any written law in force in any State listed in the First Schedule issued a summon requiring any person to appear before any Syariah Court in the State of Kelantan and such person is believed to be in such State any Registrar or Qadhi in such State may endorse the summons with his name and such summons may then be served on such person as if it were a summons issued by the Court under the provisions of this Enactment.
(3) The Ruler may be order published in the Gazette, add, delete or amend the First Schedule.
