ENACTMENT NO. 4 OF 1994 COUNCIL OF THE RELIGION OF ISLAM AND MALAY CUSTOM, KELANTAN ENACTMENT 1994
PART VIII - GENERAL
Section 146. Repeal and saving.
(1) The Kelantan Council of Islamic Religion and Malay Custom Enactment, 1966 [En. 2/66] is repealed:
Provided that:
(a) all powers, rights, privileges, liabilities and obligations of the Majlis Agama Islam dan Adat Istiadat Melayu Kelantan, shall devolve on the Majlis;
(b) all land vested in the MajIis Agama Islam dan Adat Istiadat Melayu, Kelantan shall vest in the Majlis;
(c) all property and assets of the Majlis Agama Islam dan Adat Istiadat Melayu, Kelantan, shall vest in the Majlis;
(d) any document, bond, agreement or instrument to which the Majlis Agama Islam dan Adat Istiadat Melayu, Kelantan, is a party shall have effects as if the Majlis had been substituted for the Majlis Agama Islam dan Adat Istiadat Melayu, Kelantan as a party to it and as if all references in it relating to the Majlis Agama Islam dan Adat Istiadat Melayu, Kelantan, relate to the Majlis;
(e) all civil proceedings and causes of action by or against the Majlis Agama dan Adat Istiadat Melayu, Kelantan, may be continued or commenced by or against the Majlis.
(2) All rules, regulations, proclamations, orders, notices, forms, letter of authority and appointment issued under or under the authority of the repealed Enactment shall remain in force, so far as they are not inconsistent with or replaced by the provisions of this Enactment, or revoked or replaced by rules, regulations proclamations, orders, notices, forms, letters of authorization or appointments issued or made under this Enactment.
