SHAR'IYAH COURTS AND MUSLIM MATRIMONIAL CAUSES ENACTMENT, 1966

PART I - PRELIMINARY

Section 5. Ketua Penyelia Ugama, Penyelia Ugama, Penda'wa Jenayah dan Timbalan Penda'wa Jenayah.

For the purpose of this Enactment, His Highness the Sultan may appoint by instrument under His sign manual and seal-

(a)

any suitable person to be Ketua Penyelia Ugama for the State and any suitabIe persons to be Penyelia Ugama; and

(b)

Any suitable person to be Penda'wa Jenayah for the State and any suitable persons to be Timbalan Penda'wa Jenayah.

All such appointments shall be notified in the Gazette.
