Section 109. Who can be deemed to be the father.
If a woman who is married to a man gives birth to a child six months or more after the marriage, or with in such period as is acceptable under Hukum Syara' after the dissolution of the marriage by the death of the man or by divorce, and the woman has not remarried, the man shall be deemed to be the father of the child, but the man may, by the process of li’an in accordance with Hukum Syara', deny that the child is his.
