PART III - RELIGIOUS COURTS JURISDICTION Procedure in Criminal Proceedings
Section 52. Information.
(1) An information with a view to prosecution shall be made in writing or orally to the presiding officer of the Court. If made orally, it shall be reduced to writing by him. In either event, he shall require the informant to swear or affirm to the truth of such information.
(2) The Court may refuse to take any action on such information if not satisfied that there is reason to believe that an offence has been committed.
