Section 25. Power to pursue and to re-arrest.

If a person in lawful custody escapes or is rescued, the person from whose custody he escaped or was rescued may immediately pursue and arrest him in any place, eother within or without the jurisdiction where he was so in custody, and deal with the person as he might have done on the original arrest.
