(1) Without prejudice to the right of any person interested under any order made under this Ordinance to enforce the order under this or under this Ordinance or under any other law, the Court that made the order, in case of failure to comply therewith, may, where such order requires the payment of any amount, direct the amount due to be levied in the manner by law provided for levying fines imposed by the Court or may sentence the person willfully failing to comply therewith to imprisonment if the order for each month’s payment remains unpaid, or, in any other case, to one year’s payment remaining unpaid.
(2) The Court may –
(a) if any order made under subsection (1) provides for payment to be made monthly, sentences the person willfully failing to comply with the order to imprisonment not exceeding one month for each month’s payment remaining unpaid; and
(b) in any other case, sentences the person willfully failing to comply with the order made under subsection (1) to imprisonment not exceeding one year for any payment remaining unpaid.
