Section 225. Evidence debene esse.

The Court may, if it appears likely that any intended witness in any proceedings will not be able to give evidence at the trial, record the evidence of such witness in writing and such evidence may be used at the trial:

Provided that the opposite party shall have been given due opportunity to attend and cross-examine.
