PART X - AMENDMENT
Section 80. Amendment of summons or pleading.
(1) Subject to this Part, the Court may, at any stage of the proceedings, allow the plaintiff to amend his summons, or any party to amend his pleading, on such terms as to costs or otherwise as may be just and in such manner, if any, as it may direct.
(2) Where an application to the Court for leave to make the amendment referred to in subsection (1) is made after the expiry of the relevant period of limitation which is in force at the date of issue of the summons, the Court may, if it thinks just, grant such leave on such terms as it thinks fit.
(3) Subject to subsection (2), any party to any proceedings may amend his pleading without order of the Court at any time before service to the other party.
