Section 18. Failure to perform fardhu prayers.

Any person who, being mukallaf; fails to perform the fardhu prayer without uzur syarie shall be guilty of an offence and shall on conviction be liable to a fine not exceeding five thousand ringgit or imprisonment for a term not exceeding three years or to both.
