PART VII - OFFENCES



Section 112. Refusal to settle the claim of Baitulmal.

(1) Any person being responsible for the property of the estate of a deceased Muslim, where there is a right due to the Baitulmal, who refuses or attempts to conceal the property or gives information which is not true to the Majlis shall be guilty of an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding one thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months or to both.

(2) The Court which tries the case under this section shall if the right of the Baitulmal has not been handed over, make an order that it be handed over to the President.
