Section 88. Evidence of a witness and oath.

Evidence of only one witness for the plaintiff is admissible in civil cases on condition that it is given together with the oath taken by the claimant.

ILLUSTRATION

Where a plaintiff claims a debt against another person and there is only one witness, the claim may be accepted on the evidence of the witness together the oath taken by the plaintiff.
