PART II - OFFENCES
Section 29. Unlawful collection for charitable purposes.
Whoever collects or takes part in any collection of moneys or donations for charitable purposes for the propagation of Islam or the benefit of the Muslims in accordance with the Hukum Syarak without complying with any condition laid down in the Administration of Muslim Law Enactment 1963, shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable, on conviction, to a fine not exceeding five thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three years or to both and all moneys collected shall be forfeited by the court and shall become the revenue of the Baitulmal.
