PART XXX - COSTS, ALLOWANCES AND COURT FEES



Section 226. Security for costs.

A plaintiff who is out of the State, or who, being a married woman, is not liable as if she were a feme sole, may be ordered to give security for costs, and in default of such security the action may be dismissed. This section applies also to a counter claimant. Where security for costs is so ordered, it may be given to the party or to the Court at the option of the person furnishing the same.
