PART IX - PENALTIES
Section 132. Illicit intercource between divorced persons
(1) Any man who, having lawfully divorced his wife, resumes cohabitation her without having pronounced a lawful ruju' commits an offence and shall on conviction be liable to a fine not exceeding three thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years or to both.
(2) If his wife was not at the time of resumption of cohabitation aware of the occurrence of the divorce, the man commits an offence and shall on conviction be liable to a fine not exceeding one thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months or to both.
(3) Any woman who abets an offence under subsection (1) commits an offence and shall on conviction be liable to a fine not exceeding one thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months of to both.
