PART VII - MISCELLANEOUS
Section 38. Regulations.
(1) The Yang di-Pertuan Agong may, on the advice of the Majlis, make regulations for the purpose of carrying into effect the provisions of this Enactment.
(2) Without prejudice to the generality of the power conferred in subsection (1), the Yang di-Pertuan Agong may make regulations for or in respect of all or any of the following matters:
(a) the admission of pupils to religious schools, the keeping of register of pupils in religious schools, the age limits and conditions under which pupils may be retained in a religious school;
(b) the instrument of management with such amendment or modifications as may be necessary so as to fit any particular religious school, and the manner in which amendment or modification may be made to the instrument;
(c) curriculum for religious school;
(d) the types and standard of text books to be used in religious school;
(e) the supervision on examination to be held and certificates to issued;
(f) the establishment, organisation, management, control and dissolution of associations of pupils or pupils and teachers, or teachers and parents whether within a religious school or not;
(g) discipline in religious schools and any activity of pupils, whether in a religious school or not;
(h) the circulations by pupil or pupils, whether within a religious school or not, of any magazine, pamphlet or printed or written matter of a like nature;
(i) qualifications and training of teachers for religious schools;
(j) the manner in which the fund of the Board may be expended and the manner in which documents, cheques or instruments of every description shall be signed or executed on behalf of the Board;
(k) the offences committed under any regulations;
(l) the forms to be used for the purpose of any provisions of this Enactment; and
(m) any other matter as may be necessary or expedients to properly administer religious schools.
