Section 177. Discharge of order in certain other cases.
(1) An order of arrest or committal issued on grounds of failure to pay money shall be deemed to be discharged-
(a) if it appears that the party has been adjudged bankrupt or that a receiving order or wageearner's administration order has been made against him; or
(b) if the party at whose instance the order was made files in Court a request in writing that the party in question be released.
(2) Notice of the discharge shall forthwith be sent by the Court to the gaoler, if the party is in prison.
