ENACTMENT NO. 3 OF 2002 CONTROL OF ISLAMIC RELIGIOUS SCHOOLS (MALACCA) ENACTMENT 2002
PART VII - MISCELLANEOUS
Section 30. Obstructions.
Any person who-
(a) obstructs the Registrar, Deputy Registrar, Assistant Registrar, Inspector of Schools, any authorised officer or police officer who is lawfully exercising any power conferred on him by or under this Enactment;
(b) upon being required by the Registrar, Deputy Registrar, Assistant Registrar, Inspector of Schools, such authorised officer or police officer to produce any books, records, accounts, documents or other things which are or ought to be in the ordinary course of business in his power to produce, delays in producing them to the Registrar, Deputy Registrar, Assistant Registrar, Inspector of Schools, such authorised officer or police officer;
(c) upon being required by the Registrar, Deputy Registrar, Assistant Registrar, Inspector of Schools, such authorised officer or police officer to furnish such information refuses, omits or neglects to furnish such information or furnishes false or misleading information; or
(d) obstructs the seizure of any books, documents, electronic media materials or other articles under sections 24, 26 or 27, or the closure of any religious school under section 25,
commits an offence and shall on conviction be liable to a fine not exceeding there thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years or to both.
