Section 61. Syariah Courts to be opened to public.

All hearings in the Syariah Courts shall be held in public:

Provided that a Syariah Court may order that the whole or any part of a hearing be held in a closed court if the Syariah Court is satisfied that it is in the interest of justice or propriety so to do.
