Section 47. Functions of the Mufti.
The Mufti shall aid and advise the Duli Yang Maha Mulia Sultan in respect of all matters of Hukum Syarak, and in all such matters shall be the chief authority in the State of Terengganu after the Duli Yang Maha Mulia Sultan, except where otherwise provided in this Enactment.
