CRIMES (SYARIAH) ENACTMENT 1992
PART VI - OFFENCES RELATING TO DECENCY
| (1) A man or a woman who commits sexual intercourse or incest with a woman or a man, as the case may be, where their relationship is muabbad according to Hukum Syara' is guilty of an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding five thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three years or to both and may also be liable to whipping of not more than six strokes. (2) A man or woman who commits sexual intercourse or incest with a woman or man, as the case may be, where their relationship is ghairu muabbad according to Hukum Syara' is guilty of an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding three thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years or to both, and may also be liable to whipping of not more than three strokes. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
