Section 42. Proof
Every Register of Marriages kept by the Chief Registrar or Register under this Ordinance and copy of any entry therein, certified under his hand and seal of office to be a true copy or extract, shall be prima facie evidence in all courts and tribunals of the dates and acts contained or set out in the Register of Marriages, copy or extract.
