Section 27. Power to enter without warrant.

Without prejudice to section 26, if the Registrar, Deputy Registrar, Assistant Registrar, Inspector of Schools, an authorised officer or a police officer not below the rank of Inspector has reasonable grounds for believing that the object of any search to be conducted on any premises for the purposes of this Enactmen is likely to be frustrated by reason of any delay in obtaining a search warrant under the Criminal Procedure Code, he may, without warrant, enter the premises for such purposes by the use of only such force as may be necessary to effect entry.
