PART IV - GENERAL PROCEDURE



Section 30. Reciprocal arrangements with order states.

(1) If a Kadi under the provisions of any law in force in the States listed in the First Schedule, has issued a summons requiring any person to appear before any Syariah Court in such State and that person is believed to be in the State of Perlis, a Kadi may endorse the summons with his name and such summons may be served on such person as if it were issued under the provisions of this Enactment.

(2) Where a Kadi under the provisions of any written law in force in any State listed in the First Schedule has endorsed a summons requesting a person to appear before any Syariah Court in the State of Perlis and such person issued by is believed to be in such State, any Registrar or Kadi in such State may endorse such summons with his name and such summons may then be served on such person as if it were a summons a court under the provisions of this Enactment.

(3) The Ruler may by order published in the Gazette, add to, delete or amend the First Schedule.
