Section 123C. Execution of whipping.
(1) When the accused is sentenced to whipping in addition to imprisonment, the whiping shall not be inflicted if an appeal is made until the sentence is confirmed by the Syariah Appeal Court.
(2) The whipping shall be inflicted as soon as practicable after the expiration of the fourteen days or in case of an appeal as soon as practicable after the receipt of the order of the Syariah Appeal Court confirming the sentence.
