Section 20. Adjourment and transfer of a case.

(1) The Court may for sufficient reason adjourn any proceeding from time to time and from place to place.

(2) The Court of Kadhi Besar may transfer upon being referred to by a Court of Kadhi on application by one of the parties to a proceeding any case to another Kadhi's Court.

Provided that in a case where the approval of His Highness the Sultan is necessary the Court of Kadhi Besar may transfer such case to another Kadhi's Court vvith the approval of His Highness the Sultan.
