Section 45. Appointment of Syariah Subordinate Court Judge

(1) The Syariah Subordinate Court Judge shall be appointed by His Royal Highness the Sultan on the recommendation of the Chief Syarie Judge.

(2) No person shall be appointed a Syariah Subordinate Court Judge unless he is a member of the Pahang State Syariah Officers Service, or the Public Service.

(3) All appointments under subsection (1) shall be published in the Gazette.
