Section 10. Public to give information of certain matters.

Every person aware of the commission of or the intention of any other person to commit any offence punishable under this Enactment, the Islamic Family Enactment 1979, the Mahkamah Syariah Enactment 1983, the Administration of Muslim Law Enactment 1962, and the Syariah Criminal Code Enactment 1988 shall in the absence of reasonable excuse, the burden of proving which shall lie upon the person so aware, forthwith give information to the nearest Penyelia Agama, Pegawai Masjid, Police Officer, Penghulu or qualified Guru Agama of such commission or intention.
