Section 15. Termination of appointment.

Except for the ex-officio members, the appointment of a member shall terminate -

(a) upon his death; or

(b) if he shall, by writing addressed to His Royal Highness the Sultan through the Yang diPertua, resign his appointment;

(c) if he shall be absent from the State, without written permisslon from the Yang di-Pertua, for a period exceeding 3 months.
