PART IV - OFFENCES RELATING TO THE SANCTITY OF RELIGION AND ITS INSTITUTION
| Anyone who gives, propagates or disseminates any opinion as fatwa to be followed by Muslims concerning any issue, Islamic teachings or Hukum Syara', contrary to any fatwa duly issued by the Mufti commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding three thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years or to both and such opinion, if written, shall be confiscated and destroyed as directed by the Court and its publication, sale and distribution be prohibited. |
