PART IV - ZINA

Section 13. Punishment for zina.

(1) Where the offender who commits the offence of zina is a mohsan, such offender shall be punished with the punishment of rejam, being the punishment of stoning the offender with stones of medium size to death.

(2) Where the offender who commits the offence of zina is a ghairu monsan such offender shall be punished with the punishment of whipping of one hundred lashes and in addition thereto to one year imprisonment.
