Section 51. Accounts and Audit.

(1) The Majlis shall keep proper accounts and other records in respect of the operation of the Fund and the baitulmal Fund and shall prepare statement of accounts in respect of each financial year.

(2) The accounts of the Fund and the baitulmal Fund shall be audited annually by the Auditor-General.

(3) After the end of each financial year, as soon as the accounts of the Fund and the Baitulmal Fund have been audited, the Majlis shall cause to be published in the Gazette the statement of accounts and any observations made by the Auditor-General on such statment or on any accounts of the Majlis.
