PART X - PROCEDURE IN CRIMINAL PROCEEDINGS
Section 212. Disposal of exhibits in a case.
Unless otherwise provided herein in this Enactment, at the conclusion of the proceedings of a criminal case, the manner of disposal of exhibits shall be as follows-
(a) If their ownership lies with any of the parties involved in a case the Court trying the case may make any order it thinks fit.
(b) If their ownership lies with a party other than the parties involved in the case, the Court, if that other party is know, shall direct him to appear in Court on a day fixed to show cause why such exhibits shall not be forfeited.
(c) Notwithstanding anything con tined in paragraphs (a) and (b) of this section, if the exhibits from the subject-matter of the offence, the Court shall order that they be forfeited.
