Section 34. Instigating husband or wife to divorce or neglect duties.
Any person who instigates, forces or persuades any married man or woman to be divorced or to neglect his or her duties or responsibilities to his or her spouse or family shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding five thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three years or to both.
