PART III - OFFENCES RELATING TO THE SANCTITY OF THE RELIGION OF ISLAM AND ITS INSTITUTION
Section 18. Intoxicating drinks.
(1) Any person who, in any shop or other public place, drinks any intoxicating drink shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding three thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years or to both.
(2) Any person who makes, sells, offers for sale, exhibits for sale, keeps or buys any intoxicating drink shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding five thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three years or to both.
