PART IV - PENALTIES AND MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS RELATING TO THE SOLEMNIZATION AND REGISTRATION OF MARRIAGES
Section 39. Unauthorised solemnizaiton of marriage.
Any person who, not being authorised under this Enactment, solemnizes or purports to solemnize any marriage, commits an offence and shall be punished with a fine not exceeding one thousand ringgit or with imprisonment not exceeding six months or with both such fine and imprisonment.
