PART III - OFFENCES RELATING TO THE SANCTITY OF THE RELIGION OF ISLAM AND ITS INSTITUTION
Section 11. Destroying or defiling place of worship.
Any person who destroys, damages or defiles any mosque or surau or other place of worship or any of its equipment with the intention of thereby insulting or degrading the religion of Islam shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding five thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three years or to whipping not exceeding six strokes or to any combination thereof.
