Section 38. False declaration or statement for procuring marriage.

Any person who for th purpose of procuring any marriage under this Enactment intentionally makes any false declaration or statement commits an offence and shall be punished with a fine not exceeding one thousand ringgit or with imprisonment not exceeding six months or with both such fine and imprisonment.
