CHAPTER 2 - OF ARREST, ESCAPE AN RE-ARREST

Section 14. No unnecessary restraint and mode of searching a person.

(1) The person arrested shall not be subjected to more restraint than is necessary to prevent his escape.

(2) Whenever it is necessary to cause a person to be searched, the search shall be made by a person of the same sex as the person being searched with strict regard to decency.
