PART XXV - MISCELLANEOUS

Section 237. Furnishing security.

(1) Security shall be given by deposit of money or by bond, the amount of which shall be fixed by the Court or the Registrar.

(2) Expenses of security, if any, shall be borne by the person giving the security.

(3) The undertaking in writing of a Peguam Syarie may be accepted in lieu of the security mentioned in subsection (1).

(4) Where security is given by deposit of money, the money shall not be paid out without the order of the Court.

(5) Where security is given by bond, one surety shall be required unless the Court otherwise orders.
