Section 102. Request for issue of subpoena.

(1) Before a subpoena is issued a request in Form MS 20 for the issue of the subpoena shall be filed in Court, and the request shall contain the name and address of the party requesting for the issue of the subpoena if he is acting in person, or the name of the firm and the business address of the party’s Peguam Syarie.

(2) Issue of a subpoena takes place upon it being sealed by an officer of the Court.

(3) A subpoena shall be in one of the forms in Form MS 21, MS 22 or MS 23, as the case may require.
