Section 88. Special order regarding property.

(1) (a) The Court may, in considering the standard of living of the child, the value of the property and all the relevant circumstances it is beneficial that the capital asset of the child be used to meet his needs, education or development and with a view to avoid making any application to Court, for the appointment of a guardian of the property of the child, order that all the properties of the child of whatever nature be placed in the hands of someone who will be appointed by Court with full powers to deal and utilise the properties for the purposes mentioned above in his discretion and free from any control.

(b) In the above circumstances the receipt by the person so appointed shall be a due settlement for any payment or transfer of the right on any property of the child by the person making the payment or transfer.

(2) A person so appointed may be ordered by Court to produce an account of his dealings with the property of the child.

(3) The Court may for any reasonable cause rescind any order or nullify any appointment under subsection (1) and appoint another person and confer upon him similar power or any further or limited power it deems fit or may appoint another guardian of the property of the child.
