PART VIII - CHIEF REGISTRAR OF WAKAF AND REGISTRAR OF WAKAF
Section 32. Appointment of Chief Registrar of Wakaf and Registrar of Wakaf
(1) The Majlis may appoint a Chief Registrar of Wakaf who shall have the supervision and general control over Registrar of Wakaf and all matters relating to the management and administration of wakaf under this Enactment.
(2) The Majlis may appoint as many persons as necessary to be the Registrar of Wakaf who shall be responsible to-
(a) register all wakaf in the form or manner prescribed by the Majlis;
(b) hold, keep and maintain a register of all wakaf, instruments, document of title or any other documents related to wakaf which are vested in the Majlis; and
(c) register any mawquf created without being registered in accordance with the provisions of this Enactment.
