PART II - THE MAJLIS AGAMA ISLAM NEGERI PULAU PINANG

Section 11. Appointment of the Secretary

(1) The Director of the Islamic Religious Department of the State of Penang shall be the Secretary of the Majlis.

(2) The Secretary shall be the Chief Administrator of the Majlis and shall be responsible for carrying out the policies and resolutions of the Majlis.

(3) The Secretary is entitled to attend all meetings of the Majlis and to participate in its deliberations, but shall have no right of voting.
