PART IX - CONVERSION TO THE RELIGION OF ISLAM

Section 113. Recognition of mualafs as Muslims.

(1) A person who has converted to the religion of Islam and has been registered in the Register of Mualafs shall, for the purposes of any Federal or State law, and for all time, be treated as a Muslim.

(2) A person whose conversation to the religion of Islam has been registered under any law of any State shall, for all purposes in the State of Perlis and for the purposes of implementing the provisions of any law in the State of perlis, be treated as a Muslim.
