PART II - THE MAJLIS AGAMA ISLAM NEGERI PULAU PINANG

Section 25. Delegation of duties and powers

(1) The Majlis may, by resolution, and subject to such conditions and restrictions as the Majlis thinks fit, delegate to the Yang di-Pertua or Timbalan Yang di-Pertua or the Secretary or to any Committee of the Majlis, the performance of any of its duties or the exercise of any of its powers.

(2) The performance of duties and the exercise of powers in pursuance of a delegation under subsection (1) shall be subject to the control and direction of the Majlis.

(3) The Yang di - Pertua, Timbalan Yang di - Pertua, Secretary or Committee shall inform the Majlis of all acts and things done by him or it in pursuance of a delegation under subsection (1).
