Section 37. Unauthorized solemnization of marriage.
Any person who, not being authorised thereto this Enactment, solemnzes or purports to solemnize any marriage, commits an offence and shall on conviction be punished with a fine not exceeding one thousand ringgit or with six months or with both such fine and imprisonment
